| July 1, 2011 | 0 Comments

It was recently reported that Sonam has a poor immune system and was suffering from Typhoid, however showing true professionalism, the star hasn’t fully recovered as she’s been too busy with her showbiz commitments. Sonam is currently busy filming for Abbas-Mustan’s Players also starring Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu; however missed out on the fun stuff happening after hours. A surprise visit had been made by the New Zealand Prime Minister, John Key on the set of Players. Reliable sources explained, ‘It was a very special afternoon. Bipasha and Abhishek were shooting, at Film City, with director Abbas-Mustan. Since a major part of Players was shot in New Zealand, the Prime Minister decided to pay the unit a visit. Sonam missed out on the opportunity as she had a stomach infection, which prevented her from making it to Film City, where the NZ Prime Minister met the rest of the cast and crew.’ However, the celebrations didn’t stop there for the crew, as co-star Abhishek later threw a birthday bash for his director, Mustan. Sonam’s spokesperson tells us more, ‘After the Prime Minister left, Abhishek organized an impromptu birthday bash. Sonam missed that as well, but she kept messaging throughout the day to stay updated about what was going on in her absence. She’s okay now, but extremely prone to infections, and she needs to guard herself constantly against falling ill.’ We wish Sonam a speedy recovery, and hope she can join in with all the fun her co-star’s are having in her absence!
