Shruti Hassan cast opposite Girish in Prabhu Deva’s next
Prabhu Deva has proved himself as a director with the huge success of ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and with three directorial ventures in his hand. At present, he is staying in Boney Kapoor’s old place in Green Acres as they’ve shifted to a new bungalow.
The choreographer-turned-director is all set for another project which begins next month. It is a hard hitting love story and Prabhu Deva has decided to cast Shruti Hassan in the lead opposite producer Kumar Taurani’s son Girish.
Prabhu Dheva confirmed Shruti’s presence in the project saying, “We were thinking of a new girl. But Shruti seems a better option. She has everything it takes.”
Revealing more about the film, the director said, “It is as massey as Rowdy Rathore. That is the only language I know. It will be targeted at single-theatre audiences. But we will put some elements for the multiplex audience as well.”
