Katrina Kaif is Google India’s Most Searched Celebrity!

According to online research, Katrina Kaif is Google India’s most searched name. The Bollywood star has beaten the likes of Anna Hazare, Sachin Tendulkar and Steve Jobs and has been declared winner of the ‘Top Searched People’ on Google.

Research showed, over 70 percent of search a lot of Internet usage moved to mobiles. Surprisingly, Katrina has also won the title on another famous search engine, Yahoo as ‘Top Searched Celeb of the Year’ in the Yahoo India Year Review 2011.

So how excited is Katrina to have won the title twice in the same year? ‘I have to thank my fans for their constant love and support. I just don’t know what else to say, frankly I m overwhelmed.’

What’s interesting is, Bollywood celebrities like, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Vidya Balan have also had a very successful year, and still didn’t manage to make it to the Top 5 most online searched celebrity 2011.
